This is a private think-tank of capable minds where sensitive or controversial issues can be discussed across religious, cultural, ethnic and political divisions.

It was set up, after a trial run, by people with a wealth of experience interacting online, who wish to sensibly discuss and debate important but difficult-to-approach subjects, and who realise that the only way to maintain a forum where this can be achieved is to keep it closed to the general public.

Be prepared to have your views challenged and scrutinised - anything goes here, but please use common sense and conduct yourself with manners. Membership is by invitation only.

Overt racism, religion-bashing, excessive preaching, bullying and so on will be met with zero tolerance. HOWEVER, you are encouraged to be yourself and say what you think. If you harbour a view which is offensive to some individual or group, that's one viewpoint - and ALL are valid here. But there must be some system of rules. Three valid complaints to admin about your conduct gets you booted. This does not apply to the administrators, otherwise somewhere down the line, the loophole will be manipulated to get them all deleted and that's just plain silly. Admin will keep an eye on each other, and will be hand picked, mature and trustworthy individuals, suited to the job. Effort will be made to represent diversity within this team, and to this end, they need not even see eye to eye with each other. This should ensure fair votes if and when they become necessary. It is hoped that bridges can be built and common ground established, whatever walk of life you come from. There is no doubt at all we can all learn something from each other, and maybe even do our bit to improve the world we all live in.
